| Tumbling levels coincide with USASF's all-star tumbling rules & regulations. We offer classes of instruction for all ages and ability levels. Our tumbling classes are 1 hour and focus heavily on technique and body control. A typical class is approximately 35 minutes of tumbling, 10 minutes of cheerleading fundamentals, and 15 minutes of stretching and conditioning. Individual instruction is the foundation on which our program is built. Prices are listed for each class type, but we do offer discounts for enrolling in multiple programs or with multiple children. Fees Annual Registration $35/student or $60/family. Tumbling Classes: $50/month for one class (weekly), $40 per additional class. Stunting Classes: $50/month for one class (weekly). Dance Classes $50/month for one class(weekly). $40 per additional class (may include tumbling). Private Lessons $25/half-hour. Open Gym Hours $8 per session. You can join a class at any point during the year as our classes are on-going 12 months a year with no specific registration period. Join today!! Class Descriptions Mommy Me (18 months- 24 months): This class is designed for little ones and their mom or dad. The emphasis is placed on motor skills, socialization, following directions and making friends. Come join us for this 30 minute class and burn off the exponential energy of that special toddler! ($45/month) Minis (Ages 2-6): These classes are designed to teach fundamental coordination, flexibility, and fitness! Includes tumbling, dancing, and all fundamental cheerleading skills (jumps, motions, etc). This class is one hour long; 30 minutes is spent on tumbling fundamentals and 30 minutes in spent on dance techniques! ($50/month). Try-out Preparation Class: This class is designed to get you ready for your upcoming try-outs. The class will focus on flexibility, jumps, motions and dance. Please call the front desk for registration. Class available January -April to prepare for upcoming tryouts. ($50/month) Flyer Flexibility Class: A must for every potential flyer. This class focuses on stretching, strength and body positions needed by flyers ($50/month) . Level I Tumbling: Working on basics of body control and body position. Progressions for a back handspring are taught and drilled. Cartwheels, round-offs, back-bends, handstands and walkovers are the focus. This is our beginning tumbling class ($50/month). Level II Tumbling: Class focuses on use and control of momentum by progressing with skills learned at Level I. Standing back handspring series and roundoff back handspring series will be perfected at this level ($50/month). Level III Tumbling: Students have mastered series of back handsprings (both standing and running). Back tucks are introduced at this level. Standing tumbling will focus on standing back tucks and back handspring back tucks. Skills from level 1 and 2 will be incorporated into level 3 passes ($50/month). Level IV Tumbling: Standing tucks, layouts, x-outs, pike-overs, and standing tumbling series are taught and perfected. Aerial cartwheel/front walkover tricks are incorporated into specialty passes ($50/month). Level V Tumbling: Students have mastered the standing tuck, back handspring back tuck, and running layout. Standing tumbling connects jumps to tucks and running tumbling works fulls, double fulls, and specialty passes ($50/month). Private Lessons: SC offers private lessons for students who desire a higher degree of individual instruction in a specific area. These lessons may last ½ hour to 1 hour and are scheduled at mutual convenience with the instructor ($25/half-hour). Open Gym: SC offers open gym hours each week. Classes are informal and students may target specific areas. Students don't have to be enrolled in weekly classes to take advantage of open gym hours. Everyone is welcome! ($8/class) |
